The cutest little 3 year old!!

Image
Our little Rockwell needs glasses. I would have never thought that any of our children would only because I have never had a problem. We started noticing Rocky's eyes were going crossed in about November of last year. I took him into the pediatrician in December and he said he was fine as long as both eyes were doing it. Then it seemed to be getting worse so I said forget it and took him into the eye doctor. He had to dilate his eyes to look inside so he put some drops in Rocky's eyes which he didn't like. Then we had to wait about twenty minutes. This was all at about 4 o clock in the afternoon. So by the time we get back in the doctor's office Rocky is falling asleep while the doctor is trying to look in his eyes and test for the correct lenses. He is near sighted which means distant objects are fuzzy so his eyes were going crossed to get a clear picture. The glasses are to correct the crossing problem and the doctor said hopefully as he grows and his eyes grow and de...

Kids Run the OC

Image
This is the registration form for the one mile kids run in Orange County for 2010. If you look closely at that cute little picture in the top right corner you might recognize him. That picture was taken last year when Lincoln and Nixon ran the one mile distance. He has the cutest smile on his face.

Sea World

My sister Briana has a friend that knew of this education group day at sea world. We had to have over 10 people and we could get in for a half day for $5.75 per person and under 3 is free. We couldn't pass on a great deal. So we drove down to Briana's late Tuesday night, then the next morning we drove the rest of the way down to San Diego. It made it really easy breaking up the driving time. So we all had so much fun. We went to the Sea Lion show but it was a special education show so they actually showed us what they do to train the sea lions. It was very cool. We saw the sharks, penguins, dolphins, all different kinds of fish, the bat rays (my favorite) and of course shamu. We also saw lots of Patricks (starfish) but we didn't see spongebob. :( I had to force Sierra to take a picture with me so here is the result. The boys ran around the park all day. Watching the killer whales. Rocky with Grammy, one of his favorite people in this whole world. Whenever we are at Grammy...

Monster Jam

Image
Rich decided to take the boys to the Monster Jam in Anaheim, so we went down to Briana and Brett's for the day and Brett and Nixon went with them while I hung out with Briana and Rossi. Here are the boys in front of gravedigger. He was their favorite because he was won and did the last big jump. You can just see the excitement on their faces!!

My big helpers

Image
My boys love to help do anything. If I am making bread they want to help, if I am emptying the dishwasher they want to help, in this case if I am vacuuming they want to help. This one is probably their favorite. We have a little cordless shark vacuum that Lincoln is using and then I had out our big vacuum but Rocky decided he wanted to give that one a try. They actually did a really good job. The only thing they don't like to help with is picking up their toys I know what a surprise so I have to make it a race in order for it to be any fun. The other day the boys were at Grammy's house and she was cleaning so she had Ashton and Lincoln cleaning windows and Sierra vacuuming. Rocky was taking a nap. She said she would pay them a dollar so that made it extra fun. Lincoln would have done it anyway he loves spraying the windex on the window. Whenever I ask, "Can you be my big helper?" They get so excited because they know they get to do a job.
