Auntie Trishy's Graduation

Image
We really wanted to go up to Utah for Trisha's graduation from the University of Utah Master's program. We just didn't see it happening. But then Rich had an opportunity to test for Salt Lake City Fire Department so we thought woo hoo we could kill two birds with one stone. So we had a fun short trip up to see the family. I know this picture is out of focus but I love it. Trish is waving hi to the kids as she walks by our isle. It was great to be there and inspiring for me to one day graduate from college and have that awesome accomplishment! Way to go Trishy!!! Rocky was in the car with Daddy for this pic. Grandpa and Rock. Rocky tells me quite frequently that Grandpa calls him Rock. Not in a bad way, he likes it. I don't remember what Rich was saying but he can always get his mom to laugh!! We went to Tepanyaki after Trisha's graduation to celebrate. We don't take the boys out to eat very often (obvious reasons) so this was a special treat. They thought it ...

Lincoln Loves Primary!!

Image
Waiting to go into the primary room for closing exercises. I was taking pictures of the kids for a slide show DVD for father's day. Lincoln was being very photogenic!! There are three girls in Lincoln's class, Abigail, Nora and Addison. Apparently they all have crushes on Lincoln or so their moms and primary teachers tell me. I didn't know it started so young, they are only four. Luckily Lincoln has no idea what is going on he just thinks they all want to be his friend. I love the innocence of children it is so fun to watch and be a part of.

Marsh and Whit Tied the Knot!!!

We were so lucky to be able to join Marshall and Whitney at their sealing in the Los Angeles Temple. Their sealing was performed by President Larkins who is a member of our ward and he did such a great job. The two pieces of advice he gave them to continue to do throughout their marriage was 1) Kneel in prayer together every night!! 2) Attend the temple once a month!! I love going to sealings because it helps me remember the covenants that I made when I was sealed to my wonderful hubby, I love you more each and every day!! You can't help but come out uplifted and renewed, I love the temple, it is heaven on earth!!! Is Lincoln racing cars?? What a shock!!! The Newlyweds!!! Mr. Rockwell with Nana and Papa. Rocky with Grammy! My little snuggle bug!! Just about the coolest thing ever, getting to drive the car with Grampy through the parking lot!!
