Rich and Sophia

So we were driving home from Grammy's this morning and Lincoln was eating popcorn that Grammy had made for him. It is a cloudy day so I pointed it out to Lincoln, I said, "Lincoln look at all the clouds in the sky." Then he said, " Yeah there are lots of them, the clouds look like popcorn mom!!" I laughed and said your right! He is such a smart kid and he understands just about everything that is going on around him!!

Okay was that not one of the greatest talks from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf!! I just loved it!! You don't have to read all of this I just want to write down my notes from the meeting, I just was overwhelmed by the spirit and the topic of his talk pertains to every single being on this earth it was just so great!!!  The path to peace, hope, and joy... is developing God's happiness!  What is God's happiness? God's happiness comes from creation and compassion! CREATE - we all can create, we are spirit sons and daughters of the most creative being in the universe! Our purpose should be to seek and experience eternal happiness! As a mother - create bodies for spirit children but don't stop there - teach and educate them! The definition of creation is bringing into existence something that did not exist before. It doesn't have to be perfect. You can start small. Headed down Main Street at Disneyland! Nana has Lincoln, Aunt Sophi is with Nixon, Aunt Briana has baby Rossi and my dad while taking the picture is pushing Rocky in the stroller! Talented!! Here's our little race car driver, since that is what he says he wants to do when he gets big!! Keep your eyes on the road Lincoln!! Nixon is giving Pluto a high five! We didn't take to many pictures this day I think our hands were pretty full, good thing we had Nana and Papa with us!! The boys were so tired after today I didn't have my double stroller with me so we just rented a single for Rocky for the day and so Nixon and Lincoln pretty much walked all day long! Rocky didn't take a nap so when we left the park at eight Papa was carrying him to the car and he was past out on his shoulder!! It was a really fun day! Thanks so much Nana and Papa, you're the best!!! We love you!!

At the villas they have this area with a basketball court, putting green, big sandbox, fire pit, and playground. Lincoln, Rocky and I were playing golf on the putting green and they were having so much fun getting the balls in the holes! Then Lincoln says to me out of nowhere, "Mom you have to keep your ball on the eye, okay!!" It was so funny because he was so serious! I just wish I had pictures to post with this they were having so much fun we played with everything!!!

Lincoln pulled some of daddy's socks out of a pile of clean laundry and put them on all by himself. He came and showed me and so I had to grab the camera and take a pic he thought it was so awesome!!!

There was this big rock on the beach and I knew Lincoln would love to jump off, when we were in Mammoth about a month ago they had these huge boulders at the park and he had more fun on those than playing on the playground. He's such a great climber!! So at the beach they climbed up the one side and then scooted down a little on the other side and jumped into the sand. And Rocky of course has to be doing everything the big boys are doing, he copies Lincoln in everyway. It's a good thing he's such a tough kid when he falls down he gets right back up and tries again!! Lincoln and Nixon loved riding their bikes, every chance they got they were out there racing!!

We were at the beach for around four hours and these boys did not stop the entire time we were there. We had to force them to sit and eat some lunch! Boys were made to be outside, running around! I already said how ICE cold the water was but it took all Lincoln had to smile for this picture. He hates being in cold water, well he's not the biggest fan of water in the first place! Rocky is so adorable!! You just have to meet this kid to know what I mean. He is so funny and knows it!! He has this fake laugh that is hilarious and he is now copying everything that we say. He loves to say "Cheese" for the camera and we like to say "Bow chick a wow wow" from Alvin and the Chipmunks and he repeats us every time, it is so funny!!

This is really short but these boys are just too cute! 

We went to the beach just down from the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach, let me just say it is one of the most beautiful places in the world!!! We've been down there before but everytime I am there it just takes my breath away!!! If you ever have a chance to go don't miss it, well if you are a beach junkie like me!!! I love it!!! Pictures don't even do it justice, the water is perfectly clear and all the rock formations are awesome, the boys had so much fun playing in these tide pools! Lincoln was an animal climbing all over the rocks without any shoes on, not once did he complain about his feet hurting! He wanted to go everywhere we had to keep telling him to come back when he would get to far away!! I'm picking up a hermit crab to show the boys, we saw tons of hermit crabs and there were a few regular crabs, and some fish!! They loved finding the sea creatures. Later on in the day I asked Lincoln and Nixon if they wanted to stay at the beach or go to the pool? Immediat...

Just kidding he didn't fall he was just running after that bird. He was so funny he loved those birds!! Here he is again going after the bird. He is the funniest kid, I just love him to death!!!

Papa took Rocky for a swim, he didn't like it to much. I went in a little later and found out why the ocean felt like you were in ice water, it was freezing!!  Here comes trouble!! Papa and Lincoln watching the waves! Sierra was teaching the kids about sand crabs. She is going to be a great mom someday!!!! The newest addition to the family, little baby Rossi with his beautiful mommy, Aunt Briana!!!

Watch out if you are holding hands with Rocky because his new thing is he likes to go limp and have you drag him. It is so funny :)  The boys decided to take off running, well they are always running! They love to race! 

This morning they were having a free paint by numbers at "The Kids Zone". We took the kids over there and they all painted a picture. Lincoln was done in like two minutes he was so focused on getting his picture done. I think he just wanted to go play in the room with all the toys. Which is where he headed next. He did a great job on his sailboat picture, his is the one in the middle!!! On the way back to the condo my dad was a little picture happy with the camera, which I love it just captures the moment!!!

Every year we are so lucky we get to go to Newport Beach with Nana and Papa and stay in their time share. This year we stayed for five of the seven days and had a blast!!! On Sunday we went to Brett and Briana's ward for church and it's always a challenge to keep the kids under control when all their cousins are right there to play with! Lincoln kept bugging this lady in front of us whose hearing aid was like static through the entire meeting. It was pretty funny and Rocky is so friendly he wants to say hi to everyone around him!! After church we went back to the beach condo went swimming and bar-b-qued hamburgers and hot dogs, yummy!!! Briana got a yellow watermelon at the farmers market which was quite interesting! The kids played hide and go seek and were hiding in all sorts of bushes, Rocky looked like he was walking through a jungle. We were at South Coast Plaza and they were having a children's fair throughout the mall so after lunch we went over and waited in line to have the kids faces painted. Lincoln wasn't really interested until he saw a boy walk by with a spiderman face, Lincoln and Nixon got so excited they knew what they wanted. They wanted to be spiderman!!!!! They looked so great and Sierra was a Cheetah and hers was adorable!!!

My dad has his time share every year at the Marriot Newport Coast Villas so we went down there for a few days and Saturday we went to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch it was Nixon's and Ashton's birthday so we wanted to go somewhere that would be fun for the kids! And it was so fun!!! The kids loved all the animals and the atmosphere, they could sit in their chairs and growl and be as loud as they wanted it was wonderful!!! The balloon guy came around and made a spiderman hat for Lincoln and some swords for Rocky, they loved it!!!

My boys are so adorable in the morning, they are so happy and cuddly I just love it!!!  Nice hair Lincoln!! Every morning he wakes up with a new do!!

Rocky had his first day in the nursery at church. He just loved it went right in and had so much fun!!! He gets to be in nursery with Lincoln until January and then Lincoln will go to primary. I can't believe how fast they grow up!!! I just need to enjoy every minute!!
