Halloween Fun

Image
I was not very good about taking pictures this halloween. In fact the only pictures I took were at Lincoln's preschool carnival. They got to wear their costumes to school and then the last thirty minutes they were able to run around and play games. It was very fun! Lincoln really wanted to be a Hot Wheels Race Car Driver this year for Halloween. Rocky was Mr. Incredible, not Dash he was Mr. Incredible. He was very particular. Rocky being a ghost at the carnival. Lincoln with his very first school teacher, Ms. Cindy. This is at my mom and Vanessa's ward Halloween trunk or treat. The kids had a ton of fun. This was the first time I attempted to paint Rocky's face and he totally held still the whole time. I was amazed. Last year he freaked out when we tried to paint the lines under his eyes to be a football player so I wasn't sure how it was going to go. But he loved it, when I showed him in the mirror a big grin spread across his face! Ashton, Lincoln and Coby. This is at...

Concentration...

Lincoln is our artist! He absolutely loves to color, draw, write letters or anything that has to do with art. His cousin Hattie gave his daddy this model airplane last year for Christmas and it was in a drawer until now. Daddy helped put it together one night and then Lincoln got to paint it. He had that tongue of his out the entire time. It was so funny, he was concentrating so hard I took about twenty pictures and he didn't look up once.

Edwards Airforce Base

I forgot to post this, it was pretty funny......We were waiting in line for a tram to take us back to the parking lot and I got out an apple and showed it to Lincoln and he said, "no." Then I gave Rocky a bite and I had a bite and then I showed Lincoln again and he said, "If I see that apple in my face again then I won't eat any more apples!"

1st Air Show!

North Edwards Air Force Base was having a big open house and so we decided to head out there and check it out. We didn't realize all of southern california would be going as well. Once we got off the freeway we sat in about two and a half hours of traffic. We were then directed to park then we hopped on a tram that took us over to the security area. We went through security and then we hopped on a big bus that took us over to the show. I think the boys were more excited to ride on the bus than see the planes. It was also their first time on a bus. At security they suggested I write my phone number on Rocky's arm. He thought it was so cool! I'm not even going to try to name any planes because I have no idea what any of them are called. Watching the show! Taking a break from the heat! They are underneath one of the big planes. It was sooo HOT!! The F-22. That one I know, the coolest part of the day! Future Pilots?

Lombardi's preschool trip!

Image
We went on a field trip with Lincoln's preschool which was very fun. We went on the train and i the petting zoo. Then we got a tour of the farm and the boys each got to pick out a pumpkin. Rocky loves animals. He called this one the mama sheep. The pig kept coming up and sniffing his bottom while I was taking the picture. He thought that was pretty funny. Lincoln's preschool class.

The Havasupai Indian Reservation

What a fun trip this was. I got a chance to go hike the grand canyon with my dad, Tori, Vanessa, the Binghams and the Reeves. I had never been to the grand canyon and it was unbelievable. We had an 8 mile hike down to the Havasupai village. I had to pick and choose from the hundreds of pictures that were taken so here are a few... The Girls!! Me, My dad and Vanessa Tori, Vanessa and myself. Behind us is where we hiked through the canyon. Sunbathing after our first swim in the most beautiful water in the world. Eric found this cool rock to sit on with the river right below us. The lodge in the village was surrounded by red rock and was a very comfortable place to stay. We played hand and foot at night in our room and had some laughs. So fun! The second day we hiked down to the other waterfalls. Havasupai means, "The people of the blue green water." This sight was absolutely breathtaking. We had to climb down through caves and hold on to chains that had been secured to the side...
