Friendship Dinner

Our ward was doing this friendship dinner and they needed people to sign up to be a hostess at a table. I signed up that if they needed me I would do it. So anyway they needed me...as a hostess you pick a theme and decorate your table according to the theme. My good friend Kim was doing a BYU table so I thought it would be fun to have a UofU table. There was some issues early on but it all worked out and ended up being a really fun evening! Thanks to Trish my table was awesome!! She got some stuff for me at the U and brought it down with her from Utah. Then we went around to a few stores and she ended up getting cute plates, cups and place mats, among other things. She is graduating from the U in May so congrats Trishy and thanks a ton!!!

We got a special treat for Easter!

No it's not the bunny lollipops! Uncle Norris and Aunt Brenna!! We got to spend Easter morning with them before they left on their cruise!! Papa made Mount O Eggs, which was as always unbelievable!! It was sprinkling a little bit so the Easter bunny was running a little late but he showed up eventually. Having contractions off and on all day today. Proud mommy moment

Lincoln read his first whole chapter from the book of Mormon this evening. Alma chapter 29. I love verse 1, which says... "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I may go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!" I LOVE my children, they are remarkable, amazing little spirits and I am grateful I have the privilege to be called their mother I just pray that I can live worthy of that holy calling.
