First beach trip for 2011

We couldn't have had a more beautiful day in Oxnard. The skies were blue and clear and you could see the channel islands perfectly. Lincoln has asked me a few times over the winter when are we going to the beach. So this morning I had Rocky go out and tell him we were going to the beach today and I heard Lincoln say Finally!! He was very excited. Rocky was not digging the sand. He told me he doesn't like the beach because the sand makes him itchy. He was holding his privates the last hour we were there because the sand was irritating. He had fun with Lincoln playing in the water, and playing freeze tag. I had a great time relaxing in my beach chair watching the boys. I LOVE the beach!!
Lincoln said he made a sand seat which was just a mound of sand and then he sat on top of it.


Silly boys wanted to be right in front of the camera.

No it's not the bunny lollipops! Uncle Norris and Aunt Brenna!! We got to spend Easter morning with them before they left on their cruise!! Papa made Mount O Eggs, which was as always unbelievable!! Proud mommy moment

Lincoln read his first whole chapter from the book of Mormon this evening. Alma chapter 29. I love verse 1, which says... "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I may go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!" I LOVE my children, they are remarkable, amazing little spirits and I am grateful I have the privilege to be called their mother I just pray that I can live worthy of that holy calling.
