Lincoln read his first whole chapter from the book of Mormon this evening. Alma chapter 29. I love verse 1, which says... "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I may go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!" I LOVE my children, they are remarkable, amazing little spirits and I am grateful I have the privilege to be called their mother I just pray that I can live worthy of that holy calling. Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with strep throat. The last time I had strep two years ago I broke out with guttate psoriasis over my entire body. I was hopeful that it wouldn't reoccur but it is definitely making itself known. I hope I can stay on top of it with diet and lotions. But I just want to document its progression. Last time it started on my back and stomach and spread. This time around it started on my legs and arms and is starting to spread everywhere. I decided to take the kids on the two mile loop up towsley canyon after school. We had ashton and Sierra which made it really fun!! It was really hot and at the start of our hike I got nervous about rattlesnakes. So sierra said a prayer and then we sang songs really loud to scare them off. We didnt encounter any snakes and when we got back to the car Lincoln said a prayer to thank heavenly father for keeping us safe. We had a great time climbing up and over the mountain :) Taking a break at an oak tree close to the top. It says 1.9 mile loop but from car to car the app on my phone said 2.53. Lucy wants to be where the action is. I had to keep pulling her out of Rockys tball practice. She wants to be out doing everything she sees her brothers do. Lucy has perfected saying "hi" and the wave. We were out in the spa this afternoon and she was sitting out on the edge and started to wave and say hi to uncle Norris' flip flop. We got out of the house drove down the street to the park so that we could ride on the Paseos. The boys were pretty excited about the race car we pulled in next to. Yellow is Rockys favorite color. My dad decided to change the water in his pool. The boys had a blast racing their hot wheels down the slope extremely ecstatic when they would make it all the way to the bottom without crashing. Lucy and Kai were loving it too!!

Daddy went on a boys overnight trip to the desert to blow things up so the boys and I had a fun night watching a movie with popcorn and they got to sleep in mommy and daddy's bed which is pretty much forbidden. We went down to temple square this afternoon to get the kids out and enjoy the beautiful day. I am amazed every time I see the salt lake temple. The sacrifice that was put into it and the symbolism of every detail. I'm so grateful for the blessings of the temple and that we can be a family forever!! My pretty girl. I love this face she makes.
