Towsley Canyon

I decided to take the kids on the two mile loop up towsley canyon after school. We had ashton and Sierra which made it really fun!! It was really hot and at the start of our hike I got nervous about rattlesnakes. So sierra said a prayer and then we sang songs really loud to scare them off. We didnt encounter any snakes and when we got back to the car Lincoln said a prayer to thank heavenly father for keeping us safe. We had a great time climbing up and over the mountain :)









Taking a break at an oak tree close to the top. It says 1.9 mile loop but from car to car the app on my phone said 2.53. My cute little Lucy on my back making me sweat!!!

No it's not the bunny lollipops! Uncle Norris and Aunt Brenna!! We got to spend Easter morning with them before they left on their cruise!! Papa made Mount O Eggs, which was as always unbelievable!! Proud mommy moment

Lincoln read his first whole chapter from the book of Mormon this evening. Alma chapter 29. I love verse 1, which says... "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I may go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!" I LOVE my children, they are remarkable, amazing little spirits and I am grateful I have the privilege to be called their mother I just pray that I can live worthy of that holy calling.
