Rich and Sophia

For Christmas in 2007 we went to Mammoth, CA with Grammy and Grampy Mendenhall and the rest of the clan for a few days then drove from there to Bountiful, UT to spend Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Dunn and the family!! We had a fun and eventful trip, the boys did great on the drive up and Lincoln had so much fun waking up on Christmas morning and seeing that Santa came and brought him some race cars and a football uniform complete with pads and a helmet. Lincoln loved the snow, the eventful part of the trip was both the boys caught some bug while we were there and they had it coming out of both ends. Lets just say that the drive home wasn't as pleasant as the drive there!! But we did have a good trip!

March 8, 2007 we had an addition to our family! Rockwell Marshall weighed in at 8 pounds even and was 22 inches long. He was a big boy and perfect in every way!!! I wanted so much to have a natural birth after my c-section so I found a doctor who would perform a VBAC (vaginal birth after casarean). She was great we just had to drive down to Glendale Adventist Medical Center. It was fine, they wanted me on monitors at all times but everything went perfectly! We stayed in the hospital only the one night and couldn't wait to get home to big brother Lincoln!!

Christmas 2006 Halloween 2006  Lincoln had his first birthday! We had all the family over!  Before Lincoln's birthday we found out that surprise #2  was on the way. I was pregnant and due in March.  We were a little shocked but that turned into joy!  I knew the first few years would be hard having them close  but it would also be so much fun!!

In March 2006 Rich was offered a job working with my dad so we packed up and moved to California. We moved in with my dad and Tori then we took off to Hawaii with Nana, Papa and Auntie Trishie. We had a great trip it was a little rainy that week so we couldn't do as much as we wanted but we couldn't do much with a seven month old anyway. It's such a beautiful place to be, we had a great time!!
