General Conference

I always love conference weekend it is so great to hear from our prophet and the leaders of the church. I didn't get to watch as much as I would like due to the fact that we have two little kids but we were at my moms house all weekend so we had some help!! Anyway I did listen to all of President Monson's talk at the Sunday morning session. It was so great I loved how he talked about change and especially when he talked about when you have young kids and there are finger prints just about on every surface and toys scattering the floor, and how quickly things change and those things are gone. I was so emotional because last week I was upset almost everyday because my house is always a mess, and I was just sick of it!! Tonight I walked in our home from being at my moms and I smiled when I looked in the family room and I saw toys everywhere. I am going to enjoy all of it, the good and the sometimes annoying things about having little children!! Our time here is short and we need to cherish every period of our lives!! I have these wooden letters right by my kitchen sink and all it says is RELAX, I got it because I say that to Lincoln all the time and I thought I need to take my own advice, so when things get out of hand or life gets hard just remember to relax!!

Oh Sophie - your blog is awesome! I need help!!! It's funny though that I posted the same pictures of the boys that you did.

Let me know when your creative juices need an outlet. I will provide lunch if you will help me! XOXO

Nope, President Monson was talking to me! Isn't it amazing that pretty much all moms can benefit from his advice?! I definitely needed to hear that talk!
I love your pictures. So so so cute.
Happy Birthday Sophia!!! You are now a quarter of a century old. I hope you have a wonderful day! I'll be thinking about you!
