Christmas Morning

Christmas morning we told Grandma and Grandpa to be over to the house by seven and we will wait to start until they got there. Well Rocky decided to wake up at about 6:30 and so I took him in Lincoln's room and turned on Beauty and the Beast, I fell back asleep and then Rich came upstairs to get us after seven and Lincoln was still asleep so we just woke him up and said, "Hey Lincoln Santa came last night." He was kind of in a daze but very excited!!

Here is Lincoln's dazed expression, he was looking at his Tyrranasaurus Rex that Santa brought him but he wasn't quite awake yet. So daddy went over to show him how it worked and wake him up a bit. Rocky was a little overwhelmed so he started crying and wasn't to sure what to think of all of it!!

Opening the stockings was fun, last year Lincoln flipped his stocking upside down and shook it until everything fell out. This year he pulled out one thing at a time and each time he pulled something out he got so excited. Santa brought him some card games and he thought that was pretty cool. He loves playing his card games he asks to play them everyday. He has Go Fish, Old Maid, Crazy 8's and a Matching game. They are very fun, and the Crazy 8 game is really helping him get his numbers down.
Grandma Dunn gets us each our own box of Cummings chocolate mint sandwiches every year and they last about a day!! They are so yummy so this year she got a small box for each of the kids, Lincoln would pop the whole thing in his mouth, he loved them! Like father like son!
Rocky opened his Go Diego Go truck from Grandma and Grandpa. He thought it was pretty cool! He was zooming it all around in his ball pit that Santa brought. He also got an awesome train track with a train station, and some adorable clothes. Lincoln got a worker bench with tools. He loves it, it came with foam pieces to build things and lately he has been building space ships and flies them around. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Rocky's ball pit from Santa Clause, all of the kids love this thing. It has been a month since Christmas and they still play with it everyday, it does drive me crazy some days having them scattered all over the family room but I get over it when I remember that this time with them being little playing with ball pits will pass so quickly, I need to enjoy every minute!! Besides look at that face!!

Okay, this is a funny story! Camille opened her present from Aunt Trish and it was this Police Helicopter, Rocky loved it and was playing with it still in the box. Then when Camille wanted it back he had a meltdown. He thought it was his and there is no way he was giving that thing up. We gave it back to Camille and distracted him within one of the many other toys he had gotten!!

What teamwork!! Lincoln and Hattie were carrying Rocky's present over to him, it was the wooden train set so it was heavy.

Lincoln's trying to fix his dinosaur head. He gets very frustrated when he can't do it himself but once we showed him how he now does it all. That toy is for ages 8 and up! The kid is 3 and loves it!!

Lincoln had asked for a shooter gun for Christmas so from Mommy and Daddy we got Lincoln and Rocky these dart guns and they are powerful. It also came with the vest that the darts stick too and the glasses. So that you don't get shot in the eye. Which happened to Lincoln twice, Grandpa and Daddy!! He still loves them though!! When Nixon came to visit after Christmas he brought his Nintendo hand held game and that's all Lincoln wanted to do is play Nixon's race car game, and all Nixon wanted to do is shoot these guns it was a nice trade!

All of Christmas day was so fun!! We relaxed all morning, then we got to go over to Grammy and Grampy's house and talk to Uncle Blake who is on his mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico. That was so great to talk to him! Then we went over to Nana and Papa's to open our stocking, they had already given us Disneyland passes for the year in October so that we could go. Which is so fun we try and go regularly. Thank you so much Nana and Papa!! Thank you to everyone who made this Christmas so great!! We are so blessed to have such great family on all sides, we love you all so much!!!!
