My Favorite Time of Year!!!

I love the Holidays, first Halloween, second Thanksgiving and best of all Christmas. I love getting out our Christmas decorations, this year was especially fun because the past three years I haven't been able to. Three years ago we were in a transition mode selling our house in Bountiful and staying in my Granny's condo in Salt Lake so we didn't decorate that year. Then the last two years we were living at my dad's house so this year the Saturday after Thanksgiving I had Rich get the Christmas decorations out of the attic. Lincoln and Rocky both had so much fun taking everything out of the boxes! Lincoln liked unwrapping the ornaments while I put them on the tree. Every year Grandma Dunn gets us a picture ornament with the year engraved on it and a picture of each of our boys. Those are my favorite ornaments and someday I will have a tree filled with my kids picture ornaments!! Here are the ones from their first Christmas!

This is another favorite!! Rich has been a Utah fan since he was a little kid! So our first Christmas together we got this ornament to hang on our little tree!

When Rich and I were dating all I wanted for Christmas were these Kiss Kiss Bears from Hallmark! I thought they were so cute! He told me a few weeks before Christmas that they were sold out and he couldn't get them for me! I was so sad, then Christmas morning I opened a beautiful box with my bears inside. Aren't they adorable!! He also got me a beautiful white gold necklace with a squiggly snake like diamond charm on it. I love it!!

 I  have always said I would never buy a fake Christmas tree but then I was shopping the morning after Thanksgiving with my mom and Vanessa and we were in line at Kohl's. I saw a Christmas tree box sitting to the side and there was a price scanner right there so I scanned it. It was on sale for $69.99 normally priced at $199.99. So I bought it and it's been fun having a tree so early because it won't die and I don't have to remember to water it! I love to sit in our living room at night with the Christmas lights on and enjoy our beautiful tree! I am so thankful for this time of year, for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, and for the spirit of giving and service this holiday brings!!
