California Adventure
We have had many fun trips down to Anaheim to visit Briana and the kids and enjoy a day at disneyland over the last year! Our passes are expiring this month so we wanted to go a few more times. I'm thinking every other year we will get passes. I had invited my cousin James to come along with us. Other than the scorching heat we had fun! We went on Monsters Inc., then we danced along with the High School Musical 3 parade. We went over to the ferris wheel and went on that. I was in hysterics laughing when Lincoln flew off his seat. We were on a moving car so out of nowhere we took off. He was fine and got right back up and started laughing too. Then we went over to the Adventure course and played in there for a little while. The boys (Lincoln and Nixon) got to go on Soarin over California for the first time. I stayed off with Rocky and Rossi and went to see Lightning McQueen. Rocky does not like it when his brother gets to go on a ride and he has to stay off. Next time we go he will be able to go on everything with Lincoln. We then went and got some soft serve ice cream that mixes a flavor in with the vanilla. I got orange, Lincoln and Rocky got Bubblegum. The ice cream started to melt the second we got it because it was so hot. Needless to say the boys were a mess and I got to eat lots of ice cream! I think the best part of the day was at lunch time, I usually pack a lunch but thought I would splurge so we went to a mexican place over by the Mission Tortilla Factory and I ordered a chicken caesar salad and got the boys a bean burrito. When I got the salad it was monstrous! Briana whips out what she brought which happened to be romaine lettuce, full on leaves of lettuce and tomatoes. She says, "We could make your salad twice as big with my lettuce." So she went and got an extra plate and we put half of my salad on her plate and tore up the rest of her lettuce. They always have way to much dressing on salad so then it was the perfect amount. I think it was the best caesar salad I have ever had and it fed myself, Briana and James. Some good memories!

After California Adventure we went over to Corona Del Mar so Briana and I could swim in the ocean. Which is probably one of the scariest thing I've done. I don't normally get scared about anything in general. But when I was swimming I couldn't help but think about every other creature that was in that water. We made it out of there without incident and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. The kids had fun just running around in the sand. We drove home and the kids fell asleep in the car covered in sand so their beds therefore were covered in sand. Time to wash the sheets!! Thanks Briana and Brett for living in such a fun place we always love to come visit!!
