At Home Barbershop!!

Here's the last pic I took of Lincoln's long beautiful blonde hair!! I asked him if he liked his long hair and in the past he always says yes. But this time he said, "No I don't like it, I want to cut it like daddy's." Then he said, "Mommy I won't cry!" He had just witnessed Rocky's hair cut and Rocky was freaking out!!
So....two days later we got out the clippers!! Daddy did a great job and Lincoln was so brave!! He kept scratching at his neck we didn't think to put a towel around his neck until we were almost done.


Lincoln loves his new "short cut"!! (That's what he calls it.) They look like twins!!

A Fun Getaway!

My wonderful mom and stepdad had our kids sleep over again last night so we went to Stake Temple Night, which was great! I received my own little inspiration of who our next bishop would be. Jack McKeon came over to us and shook our hands and I looked at Rich and said he's going to be our bishop. Anyway this morning I did not want to get out of bed. I seriously was struggling I didn't have the boys bugging me to go downstairs with them I just wanted to lay there forever. It doesn't help that we have the best mattress ever made! I finally rolled out of bed and went downstairs to make my creamy delicious Isagenix shake. Rich and I got a late start on the trail over at the end of San Fernando and it was hot. I told him not to wait for me just to go and I was only going up to the gate. I made it all the way to the gate without stopping once I was very proud of myself. Day 4- Hiking Stewart Falls

This morning we woke up and got ready for church, Norris drove up from Provo, Brenna stayed home because she wasn't feeling very good. We went to Chris and Heather's ward because it was at 11:00. After sacrament meeting we drove down to Alpine to have lunch at Rick and Jet Patterson's. It was fun to visit with them and the kids had fun playing together. We then went up the Alpine loop into sundance, which takes forever, but it was beautiful. We met up with one of Rich's old mission buddies Sam and his fiance, Brittan and Trisha also came up which was fun. Everyone took turns with the boys when they were tired. It is quite a little hike for these little guys. Norris was in slippers and Rich and I had on flip flops. On the way back down from the falls Norris was my helper with the boys, his shirt was filthy from having the kids on his shoulders. Heaven on Earth

Lincoln's new favorite place is the BMX track! This was his third time riding on this track and my first time watching. He did so awesome!! He just kept on going lap after lap. Rich had to make him take a break and he wanted a blue gatorade this time, which he shared with his brother Rocky. They went back out and rode for awhile, on the next break he said daddy I want to go out by myself. So Lincoln would go and then daddy would go on the next start. Lincoln was even passing kids bigger than him, he was going for it.  Lincoln getting some air! Nice jump!!!
