CHIC!!

A lady in my valley recently started up a group called CHIC (Children Helping In Communities). So for our first project we went over to Summerhill Villa and decorated little pine cone turkeys with the residents in the memory care building. That is where my Nana is living right now. We got there and she was asleep in one of the chairs. She ended up waking up right before we left so we got to visit for a minute! She loves seeing the little kids and receiving all the hugs and kisses!

This is Dorothy, she was the cutest little old lady and loved making these turkeys. She was helping Lincoln, it was so adorable!!

I think Lincoln made the one with the red head in the front. He made a few other ones as well. It was a really fun activity and hopefully being involved in this group will instill a spirit of service in Lincoln, and Rocky (when he gets a little older).
