Our First BLUEberries

Aren't they beautiful!! We were very excited, every couple days the boys go out and check for more ripe blueberries and they eat them right off the bush!

Sophia- You probably already know this, but I am a Labor and Delivery nurse. My patient last night reminded me SOO much of you. I took extra special care of her just for that reason! I love that we can keep up to date with the blogs! Maybe someday we can actually get our families together. Jake would have a ball with your boys!

Lincoln's new favorite place is the BMX track! This was his third time riding on this track and my first time watching. He did so awesome!! He just kept on going lap after lap. Rich had to make him take a break and he wanted a blue gatorade this time, which he shared with his brother Rocky. They went back out and rode for awhile, on the next break he said daddy I want to go out by myself. So Lincoln would go and then daddy would go on the next start. Lincoln was even passing kids bigger than him, he was going for it.  Lincoln getting some air! Nice jump!!!

A Fun Getaway!

My wonderful mom and stepdad had our kids sleep over again last night so we went to Stake Temple Night, which was great! I received my own little inspiration of who our next bishop would be. Jack McKeon came over to us and shook our hands and I looked at Rich and said he's going to be our bishop. Anyway this morning I did not want to get out of bed. I seriously was struggling I didn't have the boys bugging me to go downstairs with them I just wanted to lay there forever. It doesn't help that we have the best mattress ever made! I finally rolled out of bed and went downstairs to make my creamy delicious Isagenix shake. Rich and I got a late start on the trail over at the end of San Fernando and it was hot. I told him not to wait for me just to go and I was only going up to the gate. I made it all the way to the gate without stopping once I was very proud of myself. Rocky's New Hair Cut

Vanessa called me this morning and asked if I would buzz Ashton's hair so they came over early afternoon and I cut Ashton's hair and then Rocky woke up as I was finishing. When I was done I asked Rocky if he wanted a hair cut and he said yes and walked over to me. I couldn't do it without talking to Rich so I waited. Daddy said if he wants it cut than just cut it. So I got the buzzers, sat Rocky outside and started cutting off his beautiful golden hair. It was like three inches long. He was laughing pretty much the whole time! When I showed him in the mirror he pointed and said look owie, he could see the cut on  his forehead much  better with all his hair gone. He looks so handsome and grown up! What a big boy! He was even helping sweep up his hair off the back patio! Such a tough guy! He's just like his dad he puts off this tough guy attitude yet he is such a love!!
