My Nana's Funeral
What a great day!! Some people may say that is kind of an unusual thing to say about someone's funeral but it was just that a great day! It was a day of family, of reminiscing, it was a day to remember the wonderful woman that I called Nana! I don't remember much of when I was a child but I do remember going to my Nana and Papa's house often! I remember playing throughout their home and getting lost in their yard! Not really getting lost it was just so big we had so much fun running around. I remember playing with her beautiful square dancing outfits, I remember playing hide and seek and thinking I wasn't allowed in their bedroom. Maybe I wasn't I don't know. I remember family dinners, which she loved more than anything! But most of all I remember the first thing she would ask for the moment I would walk in the door and whenever I was leaving was, "Where is my kiss?" She loved everybody and loved showing her affection! I have been blessed to have wonderful women in my life as mentors and examples to me, my nana was one of those women! She is such a hard worker, she is smart, she is beautiful, she is loving and she has a strong testimony of our savior and our Heavenly Father's plan! I am grateful for her faith and testimony, I just love her!! I had the privilege of compiling a bunch of pictures from her life into a DVD. It was so fun to see everyone's photos and to put them all together, she really was amazing!!
Here is Nixon, Ashton, Rocky and Sierra! (My Lincoln was in Utah with his daddy!)
Dad with his goofy kids! Where do we get that from!
Norris guarding the hole in the ground so the little kids don't fall in! Good job buddy!

Rocky went and picked a flower from the arrangement that was on top of Nana's casket! He is smelling it!
