Placerita Nature Center

Sierra had spring break so we were going to all take a trip down to Briana's house then my (favorite) cousin Amanda called and said she was in town at her mom's house out in Acton and she wanted to get together and play. So that changed our plans. Briana decided to come up here instead and we all went for a hike up Placerita Canyon. This is pretty much the first hike my kids have been on and will have to be a regular occurrence because they had so much fun! So Briana had her to kids, Vanessa had her two, and Amanda had her two, and then Grammy came along for the adventure. So there were 7 kids under the age of four and then Sierra. They played in the river with sticks, they threw rocks down the hill, and they ran up and down the trail. Lincoln thought it was like a race track of course.

Here we all are!

Rocky is checking out a snake skeleton. It was pretty crazy! They also got to see a possum and a crazy looking fire ant. The guy had just caught the fire ant and showed the kids. It was a very fun day, after our hike we went back to our house and had lunch, the kids played, we talked and reminisced, did some yoga. It was a fabulous day!! Can't wait to go camping in June with everyone together!!!
