A Fun Getaway!

My wonderful mom and stepdad had our kids sleep over again last night so we went to Stake Temple Night, which was great! I received my own little inspiration of who our next bishop would be. Jack McKeon came over to us and shook our hands and I looked at Rich and said he's going to be our bishop. Anyway this morning I did not want to get out of bed. I seriously was struggling I didn't have the boys bugging me to go downstairs with them I just wanted to lay there forever. It doesn't help that we have the best mattress ever made! I finally rolled out of bed and went downstairs to make my creamy delicious Isagenix shake. Rich and I got a late start on the trail over at the end of San Fernando and it was hot. I told him not to wait for me just to go and I was only going up to the gate. I made it all the way to the gate without stopping once I was very proud of myself. We went from there over to the Watson's so Rich could help them move. When we got there we didn't have the kids so I had Rich go ask if Amber needed any help, which she did so we hung out until their place was pretty much cleared out. Then we headed over to Sierra's swim meet to pick up the boys. I got there just in time to watch her medley relay which her team broke the record from the 80's. It was awesome!! We went home from there and packed up to go to Santa Barbara with the Halladay family. We brought lunch and went to the beach and the weather was beautiful! We all had brought kites that the kids got at a birthday party a week before. We also brought all of our bikes and went on the bike trail with the kids. Lincoln and Carter were having fun battling on their bikes. We went to Rusty's Pizza Parlor for dinner which had some race car arcade games which the kids loved and we didn't put a single quarter in. It was a really fun day and the kids all played great together.
